Customized Films to Meet Exacting Specifications
MPI
Technologies designs and manufactures release products, both paper
and film, to suit
the most demanding requirements and applications.

 MPI
produces a variety of paper & film silicone release liners. Customized
coatings solve specific customer issues and are developed in concert
with an excellent Research and Development Team. Top Coats and
corona treatment can be added to insure printability. Self-winding
tapes are silicone coated as well.

All silicone coatings are
custom-blended to meet exacting specifications from the easiest to
tightest C1S and C2S release levels, including
differential releases. Anti-static coatings, color tints, flame
retardants and mattes are also available.
Currently, we are supplying highly specialized proprietary liners to the automotive,
label, tape, and security markets. MPI utilizes both EB and UV process capabilities
on wide-web (up to 82” wide) high-speed roll coaters; we slit and/or
breakdown master rolls when necessary.

Functional Performers Protecting
Space Missions
MPI has developed an internationally recognized family
of Super-insulations. NRC2™-250, NRC2™-500, NRC2™-TWO), and
NRC2™-Cryolam are manufactured using an ultra-light
polyester that has been metallized on one or two sides.
Our unique Crinkleform™ process adds built-in stand-offs to minimize
heat transfer and thermal short-circuiting in multi-layer applications.
Heat Shield is a direct descendant of the material that protected the Lunar
lander in 1968.
Rescue products are used as radiant barriers in operating rooms
around the country to help patients retain body heat.

Decorative Topcoats and Functional
Coatings
MPI's
Electron Beam laminators (wide-web up to 82") cure
instantly without heat, resulting in consistent lay-flat
results on even the
most thermally sensitive substrates. MPI laminates rolls of film-to-film,
paper to board, film to paper; calipers range from 25gauge to 40
Mil. Slitting and sheeting support services are available
to lamination
customers.
Our MirrorBrite™ and PrismaBrite™ reflective and holographic
single-side laminations of metallized film and paper or board may
be custom ordered in rolls
or sheets for packaging and printing applications. There is a 6,000# minimum
order for these decorative laminations.
MPI manufactures custom coatings that have been designed for improved gloss
on paper and film for the ready-to-assemble furniture industry. A line of
specialty topcoats has been developed for the aluminum tape market as well.
In addition to gloss, the topcoats may add improved visual appearance, surface
protection to minimize abrasion, and added chemical resistance.
