MPI produces a variety of silicone release
liners in both paper and film. All release levels (easy, moderate,
tight, anti-static) are available.

Customized coatings
that solve specific customer issues are developed in concert with
an excellent Research and Development Team. Top Coats and corona
treatment can be added to ensure printability. Self-winding tapes
are silicone coated; in other cases, silicone-coated liner paper
or film is supplied as backing for a company's PSA labels.

State-of-the-Art Equipment and Innovative
Processes
The newly installed
UV Coater and pilot line have greatly expanded the range and versatility
of release
levels
and coatings, including both free-radical and cationic blends. Due
to MPI's unique formulations, as well as the advantages intrinsic
to radiation curing, films and papers can be coated on both sides
without the fear of silicone migration, front to back transfer, moisture
loss or distortion. Standard and custom release films and papers
are manufactured with a variety of release levels (easy to tight)
that are fine-tuned to work with the specific adhesives used in the
next converting phase. This includes the production of consistent
differential release levels that perform in multiple end use applications.

that are engineered to perform under highly specialized conditions.

liners produced with and without one-color printing for adhesive
backed face stocks.
Coated master rolls can be broken down and/or slit to tight
specifications with a precise book-edge finish. Quality assurance
tests every
roll produced and will provide results and certifications if
requested.
